Reality TV is about to get so unreal. Even more unreal than it currently is because Kevin Hart’s skit from the BET Awards is becoming a satire-based, (un)reality TV show.
Apparently, the Real Husbands of Hollywood skits from the BET Awards got so much buzz that BET was smart enough to turn it into a TV series. Their calling it (Un)Reality TV, the cast plays themselves but they’re in exaggerated, scripted scenes, sort of like reality TV. Its a spoof on ever “Wives” reality TV series. It’s absolutely genius.
The Real Husbands of Hollywood will star Kevin Hart and cast members include: Boris Kodjoe, JB Smoove, Robin Thicke, Duane Martin and Faizon Love, Nick Cannon, Anthony Anderson, Nelly and Bobby Brown (pending rehab). The show is directed by the lovely Sanaa Lathan. Her father Stan Lathan is the executive producer. The Real Husbands of Hollywood is set to air on BET March 2013, I can’t wait. This may be the smartest thing BET has ever done.

I am soooo excited for this show. It’s a very smart move on BET’s part and they need it.
Me too!!! I really hope that they plan to follow the model of reality TV shows and do a real husbands of atlanta, new york, etc. I think that this may really change how people look at reality tv, they take it too serious when it clearly is can be exaggerated as Kevin Hart has portrayed in the skits he did for the BET awards.
