If I didn’t know better, I would swear that Bravo owned a winery. But then again, when you’re a Real Housewive of Whatever City you need some bubbly to deal with that lifestyle, and a host of the reality TV stars are taking advantage of the pairing. Wine and Housewives are a match made in heaven. Take a look at the many wine inspired business ventures that the Housewives are involved in:
Ramona Singer – Real Housewives of New York – Ramona Pinot Grigio
Ramona was born to have her own Pinot. She has been hugely successfuly with building her wine, Ramona Pinot Grigio. Ramona Pinot Grigio is made from 100% Pinot Grigio grown Italy and it gets rave reviews. I love Pinot and I plan to try it soon, so look out for a review. The wine is available nationwide and is distributed by Opici Wines. You can purchase it online here.
Lisa Vanderpump – Real Housewives of Beverly Hills – Villa Blanca
Lisa makes a Sauvignon Blanc, Rosé, Cabernet and Pinot Noir in conjunction with Summerland Winery in Paso Robles for her restaurants Villa Blanca and Sur. The restaurants are the flagship for the wines which are now being distributed nationally under the brand Villa Blanca.
Cynthia Bailey – Real Housewives of Atlanta – PT Moscato Rosé
Former supermodel Cynthia Bailey is the new face of PT Moscato Rosé. Cynthia didn’t just choose any rinkie dink product to associate herself with either. PT Moscato Rosé is 100% Moscato grapes, obtained from the best wine regions of Italy. PT Moscato Rosé is distributed by International Wines and Spirits LLC. Although this seems like a great product and brand, trying to find out where you can purchase it was a pain, talking about a broken consumer experience. I finally found it for sale here.
NeNe Leakes – Real Housewives of Atlanta – Miss Moscato
NeNe Leakes is partnering with a distributor to launch Miss Moscato, she debuted it on Anderson Cooper live November 2011, but finding out anything about the wine is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. So perhaps the wine hasn’t officially launched yet.
Kim Zolciak – Real Housewives of Atlanta – Viva Moscato & Viva Diva Wines
Kim Zolciak is the face of Viva Moscato. Viva is a US based Moscato that plans to compete with other housewive wines by offering flavors such as Mango,Strawberry,Raspberry,Peach,Pomegranate, Chocolate and Coffee. The deal has been in the works for a while but I anticipate that we will see and hear a lot more about this venture now that Kim has given birth to baby number four. Viva Moscato is a division of Specialty Marketing Group and the wine is currently available in Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, DC, Deleware, and Maryland and is expecting to expand operations fall 2012. You can find a list of retailers that carry Viva Moscato here.
Teresa Guidice – Real Housewives of New Jersey – Fabellini
Teresa Guidice has added another product to her “Fab” brand. But only after she insulted the most successful Real Housewive ever, Bethenny Frankel’s majorly successful skinny girl brand:
“My thing is I don’t like anything that tastes diet-y,” she explains. “For instance, Skinnygirl tastes diet-y. I don’t like that. – Source: US Magazine.
Classic Teresa. Say what you like about her but, she has this branding thing down. She partnered with Brotherhood Winery to develop her line of sparkling wines, Fabellini. You can learn about all things Fabellini here.
Tamra Barney & Vicki Gunvalson – Real Housewives of Orange County – Wines by Wives
Tamra and Vicki launched a wine of the month club called Wine by Wives. For $29.95, members can select 2 bottles of wines each month and 10% of the proceeds go to charity. You can join Wine by Wives here.

All of the women drink a lot of wine and I am starting to think Bravo has an in with the wine industry especially after the success of Bethanny and her distribution deal with Jim Beam. They are connected somehow.
I think that they are all so inspired by Bethanny that they want to replicate her success. I don’t think that any other housewive will be able to do what Bethanny did, not with the beverage industry. As much as I detest her sociopathic ways, I think that Teresa has the best brand. I wonder if she thought of calling it Sociapathic-licious instead of Fabulicious, if she didn’t she should have.
I am throughly convinced that Teresa will kill someone and blame them as if it were there fault.
Clearly catty, childish, attention whores love the vino.
agreed!
