Mob Wives-Makeups and Breakups and no fighting!

This week surprisingly no fighting with the Mob Wives. Let’s dig in. Big Ang and Drita (damn her eye is still messed up) meet for lunch to discuss the fight. Big Ang voice is scary straight up. It’s an Jersey accent mixed with too many years of smoking cigarettes and that lady with the hole in her neck from Beetlejuice.  I like her. She looks like she is so much fun.  Big Ang insists that Carla and Renee meet to resolve their differences. Last time she insisted it was like fight night in Vegas.

Ramona meets with Renee and greats her with an apology at the door. She blames Drita for the fight calling her a farm animal. Renee is over the fighting (yeah right) but it upset that the ladies can’t get along Ramona says she doesn’t like the fighting and its gross. Say What???? (In my Stewie Griffin voice) she jumped in the fight . She says, “I have been all over the world, people are not like this in other states.” You are right grown women aren’t having rooftop fights. And anyway did she go to college? Traveling to Florida is not traveling the world.  I agree these chics are like in the late 30’s and they have street brawls like college frat boys after a football game. It’s sad but wildly entertaining. Don’t get me wrong I don’t mind seeing a fight but when eyes are blackened and mouths are bloody it becomes a bit much.

Renee is still upset about her friendship with Carla. She feels that she should have been there for her after her near death surgery. Telling this to Ramona is pointless because she feels that Carla is Drita’s puppet and has a problem with her.  Shocker.

Drita and Carla meet for cocktails. Carla feels that Renee should have reached out to her because she was the one upset. I still don’t understand her argument. If you have friends for the twenty plus years that they have that rule doesn’t apply when a friend is dying does it? Isnt there an exception?

Renee decides to write Carla a letter about their friendship. While she is writing the “be my bestie again” letter her friend Nikole calls and tells her not to do it stating that Carla should have reached to her and not other way around.  I honestly think Carla was mad about the things Renee said about her boyfriend and nothing else. She decides not to give her the letter.

Finally a Big Ang solo scene! I love her. Big Ang and buddy Linda were out partying the night before like sorority girls. She talks about how she loves wise guys they buy houses, clothes, cars and she can’t wait to find her next wise guy sugar daddy. Clearly, I need some tips from Big Ang or a wise guy whichever comes first.

Drita meets with a real estate agent to sell her house. She is truly moving forward from her marriage with Lee. Her house is massive and pretty, but she has made up her mind to sell the house. She says in her mind she is already divorced and doesn’t need to tell Lee. It’s not she  can call him anyway. Just saying.

Eye update: It’s better this time. It doesn’t look 100% but it looks like she has put some ice packs or pieces of steak on it.

Karen and Ramona are going out for girl’s night of horrible dancing and hookah. Ramona reveals that she married a Persian man in an effort to get away from the mob lifestyle. He then went into business with the mob and she divorced him. She has a new man that isn’t into that lifestyle. That’s what they all say.

Drita begins discussing with her daughter about selling the house and Aleeyah immediately looks afraid. Drita says that they don’t need such a big house for the three of them. Aleeyah looked as if a light bulb went off and she knew something was wrong. It’s sad. This little girl has been through so much. Her dad has been in jail since she was a toddler and now her parents are divorcing? Jeez.

Eye Update: Completely healed. Thank god I was beginning to think she needed a transplant.

Big Ang sets up a meeting for Carla and Renee. Thank god its in a public place. Well maybe that’s not good. Anywhoo, Renee sits down and immediately starts with “I’m tired of the bullshit” uh oh. This isn’t going to be good.  She feels that she should have reached out when she had her surgery. Carla says she didn’t know that she was doing badly and was upset that she had to hear it from other people.

I really don’t understand Carla’s argument. She said that she didn’t know she was that sick but yet she never called. She knew Renee was having surgery though and I guess calling to check on her was out of the question?…. Renee insists that she has turned over a new leaf and is drama free and they resolve their issue like grownups.

In the city Renee meets with friend Tiffany to get some new clothes. Renee is anxious to show off her “I almost died  but at least I got a new body body”. She is insistent on wearing small dresses that don’t really look good on her. Bless her heart. Wait wasn’t Renee a wardrobe stylist? No excuse.  Renee reveals that Junior professed his undying love for her. Tiffany has great advice. They both have to change to be together and not jump back into a relationship so quickly. Now if she could only talk to her about her wardrobe choices…

Drita is going to get some of jewelry including her wedding ring appraised. The ring was appraised at 35,500 per carat. Totaling over $100,000! If Drita sells it to a privately to another ten percent can be added to the sale price. DAMN GINA! She had a house on her finger! A yearly salary! A Bentley! Drita was surprised to saying that most time she had no clue where the ring was and has thrown across the house in anger most of the time.

In the city, Junior and Renee (in another ill fitted dress) go on a date.  During dinner Junior says that he feels that in their marriage Renee tried to control him. Renee says simply she didn’t want him to cheat and that he cheated on her before they were even married. What was a romantic dinner was going to hell pretty quickly until he admits that he made mistakes and he was dumb.  Was that an apology? That was very sweet I guess. Renee starts to cry (of course) because he never admitted to his faults in 12 years they have been apart. They determine that they are exclusive. This had to be before he was revealed as an informant?  At least I hope so.

Back in Staten Island, Karen has been trying to reach Ramona all day. Ramona finally calls and tells her that her and her boyfriend were arrested and spent the day in jail. I thought she said he was different?

Carla and Renee meet so that she can read her the letter she wrote. Carla felt attacked about the whole boyfriend situation. Hmm.. I don’t know …nothing she says ever makes sense to me. If my boyfriend who is a known womanizer grabbed my best friend of 27 years ass I would definitely have a problem with it. They hash it out and move on.  It’s very interesting to me that since Renee and Junior have gotten back together ,Renee is on this “peace, everybody loves on eanother kick” let’s see how this lasts.

SIDEBAR: I am going to check on Junior’s informant status. I am wondering when the sh!t will hit the fan.

NEXT WEEK: Junior and Renee move in together and Karen and Carla get into another fight.

According to the December 2 issue of the New York Post:

“The ex-husband of “Wives” star Renee Graziano, Hector “Junior” Pagan, who was seen regularly on the hit reality series last year and was set to play a prominent role in the upcoming season, was reportedly flipped by the feds last summer.

And his first victim was no less than Bonanno crime family capo Anthony Graziano — the father of Renee and show creator Jennifer Graziano.”

In the words of Laura Govan from Basketball Wives LA “I knew you were a rat”. Things should get real interesting this season since they DIDN’T shut down production after this was revealed.

  • gossipgal

Carla should have checked on Renee but hell if Renee told people not to tell her then she shouldn’t be mad. They were both being childish and need to get over it.

    • I agree. Renee is too old to be that childish. How is that you’re in the hospital dying as she continues to say and you tell someone not to tell someone else about your condition. That’s childish as hell. And Carla is spiteful. Regardless even if it was just a call, card, flowers or even a weak text message, she could have acknowledged what Renee was going through.
