VH1 is getting soft. If you’re going to force a group of perfect strangers to interact amidst conflict, the least you can do is let us all witness the inevitable fight. On last night’s episode of Basketball Wives LA, Brooke & Jackie clearly got into a fight that VH1 chose not to air on TV.
This all started at yet another clearly staged group activity, Laura’s mixology class. Laura invited fellow castmates to a local bar where she would be mixing drinks for them and things went from 0 to 60 before anyone could seem to finish one drink. Draya showed up dressed as Jackie. Jackie calmly took offense, instead of knocking Draya out, she decided to impersonate her. After a few minutes of heated exchange Brooke noticed that Jackie had pepper spray and called her out on it, and it all went to complete hell. Brooke and Jackie ended up in a heated exchange where Jackie tried to stay calm while Brooke yelled, and yelled, and yelled. Next thing we know the camera goes to an unnecessary interview with Draya. When they return to the scene, Brooke’s shirt is ripped, Brooke’s necklace is on the floor, Jackie’s headband is lopsided, and security is escorting Brooke off the property. WTF happened? Did they just fight? Was it a real fight or was this all staged?
My take on things, season 4 of Basketball Wives has forever ruined VH1′s trashy reality TV genre. After Jennifer Williams was slapped by Nya and attempted to sue, the network realized that maybe they shouldn’t encourage or enable the cast to fight for increased publicity.Talk about a sucky situation for the viewers. That’s like watching a football game and not being able to see the touchdown.
As for the fight, I know Tackie Jackie has no fans other than Doug, her own daughters don’t even like her, but I would put money on Jackie beating Brooke’s silicone injected ass. You can’t be as old and crazy as Jackie and not have a mean right hook.

Most people have come to expect drama and fights on ‘Basketball Wives’ we know these shows will never match the status of some of the ‘Housewives’ series, but I think that is why people tune in. I was talking about this show with one of my co-workers from DISH, and we both agree the show is just fun drama. I have to record next week’s episode because I will miss it when it premieres, but my Hopper is already set to record it when it airs. I have a ton of DVR recording space so I can record the rest of the season; Its the women like Jackie and Draya that will keep me tuned in each week.
Sounds like a commercial for Dish LOL. At any rate, Jackie has made it this far and she is certifiable but I don’t think she won this round.
