The Houston’s On Our Own premiered on Lifetime Wednesday night featuring Bobbi Kristina, Nick Gordon and the rest of the Houston family. Since the premiere, Bobbi Kristina has come under a fire storm. On the show, Bobbi Kristina was speaking with extremely slurred speech as if she popped a few pills. She also was completely wasted and attempting to sneak glasses of wine at her aunt’s home.
Her uncle and his wife clearly have no control over here and they are using a hands off approach. They are letting her “grieve.” I would be on board with this with the exception of that video and pics surfaced a year ago of Bobbi Kristina snorting coke (pic above). Prior to that, mom Whitney banned her from Myspace when pictures appeared of her smoking weed and drinking. So to see her essentially doing the same thing now isnt shocking, it’s shocking as her family does nothing.
Bobbi Kristina and boyfriend/brother Nick Gordon wants us to believe that they are in love. Let’s review this. By their own admission they grew up together and Whitney took him in when he was having problems with his family. Nick made it a point to say that they are blood related and he wasn’t adopted. But when they speak of Whitney THEY say “our mom” or “our mother, why would you refer to her in that way if she wasn’t a mother or at least mother figure in his life.
Nick is opportunist, if I have ever seen one. He rolls around in a new black Camero with no job (this is his second one because he totaled the first). There is no footage of him going to work so its safe to assume he is unemployed. Why would he have a part-time job at Target when he can life off Bobbi Kristina? Hell, he proposed to Bobbi Kristina with a ring that Whitney gave to Bobbi Kristina. Who does that? It’s safe to assume that even if this wasn’t Nick this would be someone else. She is terribly misguided but Nick is the closest person to her.
After the show’s premiere she took to Twitter and compared herself to Jesus.
In the infamous words of Heather B. they used what you gave them. They can’t add footage of you slurring words and drinking from a wine bottle if it didn’t happen, it happened cause she did it. Bobbi Kristina carries the gene from both her parents and clearly has a problem. I understand she lost her mother Im not insensitive to that. But her family is just watching as she self destructs. It’s sad to watch and at this point, unless Bobbi Kristina gets help I would be surprised if she makes it to age 25.
