VH1′s Basketball Wives Miami star has signed a major record deal. Stop laughing cause I’m serious. Kenya has signed a distribution deal with Bungalo Deal housed under Universal Music Group. Kenya stated:

I am excited to work with Bungalo Records on this distribution deal and can’t wait for the world to hear my music,“It has been a lifelong dream to record an album and share my passion of singing with the world.”

Record label president said

Kenya Bell is a talented artist and we are proud to partner with her on this one-of-a-kind deal, Our record label has had a successful history of breaking talent into mainstream music platforms and look forward to continuing this momentum with Kenya Bell.”

Her first single “Hate Me” will be available December 11, 2013 and is produced by Jazze Pha. Her album will be released in 2013.

I am floored to be honest. When we saw her last season dancing and somewhat singing, it wasn’t that good. But time has passed so maybe she had some classes…

confirmed this week that she is not returning to Basketball Wives for season 5. She tweeted:

I am not shocked that Royce is not coming back. She didn’t like anybody or wanted to film with anyone, so in essence she was pointless. I am very interested to see how this season plays out. Evelyn and Tami are supposed to be changed and I truly believe Evelyn is but not Tami. I am not convinced she needs more people plus what will when they add a new scandalous wife and she has ONE Bud Light. Chile….

Sidenote: Season 5 has just began taping.
